Learn hands-on the “ins and outs” of home food preservation during a series of afternoon classes held from 1:00-3:00pm at the Currituck County Center of NC Cooperative Extension.

Class # 1- March 27^th- Canning 101 – *FREE Introductory Class*

Class # 2 – April 24^th- Jams and Jellies

Class #3 – May 22^nd – Pressure Canning

Class #4 – June 26^th – Tomato Sauce

 Class #5 – July 31^st – Pickles

Class #6 – August 21^st – Butters

Class #7- September 18^th- Jerky

Each class has a $15.00 registration fee (excluding the introduction class which is free) and class size is limited. You must pre-register and pay before attending one or more of these workshops. Make checks payable to Currituck County and put Canning Class along with the class number(s) on the Memo line. Mail registration fee to NC Cooperative Extension, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917.
