road image4Regional DMV Farmer’s Forum:  Laws and Regulations that the Agricultural Community Must Comply With

 The Extension Centers of Camden, Currituck, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans are partnering with the Farm Bureau Federations of their respective counties as well as with representatives of the NC Division of Motor Vehicles to conduct a program on March 14, 2013 at the Pasquotank County Extension Center located at 1209 McPherson Street in Elizabeth City.  The meeting will start at8:30 a.m. with registration and a light breakfast and the program will begin at 9:00 a.m.  This meeting will cover regulations that impact farming operations such as the issue of movement of farm equipment on limited access highways and other topics.  So that the agricultural community is properly informed about these topics, we encourage growers to attend this meeting.  If you plan to attend, please call the Currituck County Center at 252-232-2262 or sign up on line at  http://go.ncsu.edu/regionaldmvfarmersforum by March 11, 2013.
