Identifying Dragons – Volunteer Training

4-H Clover with tag line 2012The Currituck County 4-H will be hosting a volunteer training entitled Identifying Dragons on April 16, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Currituck County Center of NC Cooperative Extension in Barco, NC.  This training will be conducted by Rhonda Morris, Executive Director of Kids First, Inc.  and will teach volunteers to recognize individuals who may inappropriately target young children enrolled in youth programs.  This program is open to all organizations that utilize volunteers. Pre registration is required and there will be a small fee of $3.00, made payable to Currituck County and mailed to NC Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917  Attn: 4-H.  For more information or to register please contact Stephanie Minton at the Currituck County Extension Office at 232-2262, or you can register on-line at
