Northeastern NC Craft Workshop

The North Carolina Cooperative Extension and volunteers would like to invite you the 2014 Northeast North Carolina Craft Workshop. Beginning February 7th registration will be accepted on a “first come-first served” basis until the April 2nd deadline. Registration forms and class information can be requested from the Currituck County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension, and are also posted on the Currituck Extension web site: http://currituck.ces.ncsu.edu

Registration fee is $10.00 per day. All registration fees are non-refundable, but transferable, and must be received by April 2, 2014. Class kit fees vary depending on class selection. The workshops are designed and open to anyone interested in learning a craft no matter their age or skill level. The workshops will be held May 13th and 14th at the Vernon G. James Research and Extension Center located on NC Highway 32 in Plymouth, NC.

Classes include:

Armenian Needle Lace; Basketry; Basic Stained Glass; Bonsai; Decoy Carving and Painting; Embroidery- Basic; Fly Tying; Glass Etching; Jewelry; Knitting- Beginner; Needle Felting; Painting in Acrylic; Paper Quilting; Seagrass stools; Skill Scarf Dyeing; Silver Jewelry; and Yo-Yo Ornaments
