Currituck Master Gardener Graduation

— Written By Deborah Foster and last updated by Donna Keene

On April 8, 2014 a new group of Master Gardeners graduated in Currituck County. The graduates participated in a series of classes designed to prepare individuals to serve as Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. The classes ran for 13 weeks and covered topics such as landscaping, vegetable gardening, fruit production, houseplants and integrated pest management. The Currituck County Center of N.C. Cooperative Extension currently has over 80 Master Gardener Volunteers who help with educational programs for the community and the annual Currituck Home, Flower and Garden Show. The N.C. Cooperative Extension staff and Master Gardeners congratulate and welcome our newest members.
