Camp is staffed by members of N.C. Cooperative Extension. Together with volunteers, the staff provides educational lessons in a “hands-on” creative environment. Recreation, crafts, and related activities are incorporated to make the experiences fun and interesting for youth. The emphasis for instructors is to provide youth with life skills necessary for the future as well as to enhance youth understanding of science concepts.
