Twelve children participated in Currituck County 4-H’s Inaugural Cooking Show which was held on October 9 at the Currituck County Center of N.C. Cooperative Extension building. The children created a variety of delicious dishes including deserts, main dishes, and soups.

Students exhibited their tasty dishes before a panel of judges with experience in the foods industry. Students were judged on setup of exhibit space; creativity and originality of recipe; taste and appearance of the finished product; and how they answered questions.
