Currituck County 4-H will be hosting an Open House and Youth Fun Day on January 17, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Extension Center in Barco. The event is free and will provide an opportunity to visit our building, meet the staff and learn about 4-H. There is something for everyone; youth ages 5-18 are welcome! Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Join us for a day of fun including hot dogs, balloons, and hands-on activities for the kids. Youth and parents can view the many fun project areas that can be explored through 4-H and actually plan what you wish to learn through 4-H in the upcoming year. Teens can learn about teen events and leadership opportunities. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity to learn about the program and sign your kids up! Adults can also get more information about volunteer opportunities in 4-H and can register for orientation & training. For more information or to register, contact the Currituck Extension Center at 232-2262. You can also register to attend on-line at: go.ncsu.edu/4hopenhouse Open House Flyer 2014
