imageThe Northeast North Carolina Daffodil Society in conjunction with the Currituck County Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners would like to invite the public to attend the Society’s Ninth Annual Daffodil Show on Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The show will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service Currituck County Center, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC, 27917. The show includes horticulture, artistic design (arrangements), and photography entries, with special exhibit classes for youth, novice, and small growers. Exhibitors do not have to be a member of the Daffodil Society to participate.
The horticulture division annually showcases daffodil varieties representing many of the over 1,000 varieties of blooms. The 2016 theme for the artistic design division is “Fame, Fame, Fame!” and will showcase exhibitor’s interpretations of Film, Art, Music, and Entertainment. Individuals interested in entering an arrangement in the artistic division should contact James Fincher, 252-599-2536 or to register, as entry space is limited.

Exhibit entries will be accepted on:
Friday, March 25, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and
Saturday, March 26 from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
Society members and volunteers will be on hand to assist exhibitors and answer questions.
