The 2016 Northeast Ag Expo will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Lynn Hobbs Farms, 185 Spivey Road, Hobbsville, NC. This year’s Ag Expo will feature cotton, peanut, forestry, and double-crop soybean production. The Northeast Ag Expo Field Day is an annual agriculture event conducted by the North Carolina Cooperative Extension agriculture agents in the northeast counties of Currituck, Camden, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Chowan, and Gates. The Northeast Ag Expo Team would like to express our sincere appreciation to Lynn Hobbs of Gates County for being this year’s farm cooperator, and thank the Lynn Hobbs’ family and staff for their support of the upcoming field day.

The agenda for the field day will be:

  •  8:00 – 8:45 a.m.         Registration and Trade Show
  •  Sponsored breakfast
  •  8:45 – 10:00  AM      Welcome, Sponsor Recognition, & Trade Show
  • 10:00 – 12:00 p.m.      Field Tours on Trolleys
  • 12:00 Noon                Sponsored Lunch

The Northeast Ag Expo Team encourages those who are planning to attend the Field Day to pre-register. Pesticide credits will be available for attending the field day.
