Homegrown and Handmade Contest

Are you crafty? Can you cook? Do you preserve food? Do you grow your own produce or huge pumpkins? Join us for the fourth annual Homegrown and Handmade contest to be held in conjunction with the Currituck Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 17th from 11:00am-4:00pm. The festival will take place at the Currituck County Rural Center located at 184 Milburn Sawyer Road in Powells Point, NC. You could be recognized for your skills!

Contest entries are currently being accepted in the youth and adult divisions for arts & crafts; baked & canned goods; homegrown fruits and vegetables and largest pumpkin. Entry is FREE and monetary prizes will be given to “Best in Show” in the categories of: homegrown; arts & crafts; and baked & canned goods.
