2016 Currituck Homegrown and Handmade Contest Winners

On September 17th, 2016 Currituck County held the Bulls and BBQ Edition of the Currituck Heritage Festival. On that day the Currituck Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension held their annual Homegrown and Handmade contest. The best in show winners for the Homegrown and Handmade Contest received a monetary prize. The categories and winners are as follows:

Adult winners  

Baked and canned goods: Sarah Watts

Homemade: Susan Evans

Homegrown: Sarah Watts

Largest pumpkin: William Powell

Youth winners

Baked and canned goods: Gabe Campbell

Homemade: Haven Delorey

Homegrown: Conner Loeffler
