Tri-County Home and Community Gardening Workshop

The Extension Master Gardener Volunteers (EMGV) of Currituck, Dare, and Pasquotank Counties will be hosting a Home and Community Gardening Workshop providing information to people interested in home gardening, weekend gardening, or community gardening. The workshop will be held on Saturday, March 18 from 9am to 3pm at the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service, Currituck County Center located at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917.

The workshop will consist of six speakers including Extension Master Gardeners, Extension Agents, and local garden experts covering a variety of topics including Vegetable Garden Botany, Using the Internet to Research Plant Problems, Nematodes, Soil Health, Garden Sustainability, and Home Canning. All informational materials are included and lunch will be provided. The workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
