Important Farm Info Ahead of Irma

Please see a news release below from the NCDA&CS, which details the temporary suspensions of the weighing of vehicles used to transport crops, and maximum hours of service for drivers.
As you may have heard, Governor Cooper has declared a state of emergency for the entire state of North Carolina effective 8am this morning, ahead of Hurricane Irma.
While it’s too early to tell what impact Irma may have on our state, NC Emergency Management is warning we should plan for statewide impact.
