Please find the results from the 2017 Northeast Ag Expo Soybean Variety Trials, conducted in Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans counties. Maturity group 4 and maturity group 5+ varieties are separately listed according to their average yield across the six locations, ranking from highest to lowest within each group. Variety performance data and rankings within each location are listed as well. Production information can be found on the second page.

Without the cooperation of growers and agri-business support, this locally generated information would not be able to be provided to the region’s growers. Special thanks and appreciation to Mr. Sidney Garrett for providing the land and to Mr. Carlton Smith, Jr. for harvesting the plot for the Currituck County trial location.
