The Extension Master Gardener Volunteers (EMGV) of Currituck, Dare, and Pasquotank Counties will be hosting a Home Landscaping and Gardening Workshop providing information to people interested in home gardening, weekend gardening, or landscaping. The workshop will be held on Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service, Currituck County Center located at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917.

The workshop will consist of six speakers including Extension Master Gardeners, Extension Agents, and local garden experts covering a variety of topics including Climate Change and Your Plants, Things We Do to Our Trees, Pollinators and Native Plants, Rain Gardens, Butterfly Gardening, and Sustainable Landscape Design. All informational materials are included and lunch will be provided. The workshop is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
