Here at NC Cooperative Extension in Currituck County, we are always looking for ways to improve our connection with the community and find better ways to deliver information that is important to you. To that end, we’d like to share the variety of ways you can stay connected to Extension in Currituck online.

Our Website: Our website is where you can always find the most up to date information. All of our educational articles are published here as well as event announcements. You will also find links to our calendar, information on how to rent the facilities we manage, a staff directory and so much more. Bookmark currituck.ces.ncsu.edu.

Facebook: Here we post all of our upcoming events on our feed. You can also find links to all the articles we publish online and photos of live events. On Facebook we are @CurrituckCES.

Youtube: We maintain two Youtube channels for our various educational videos. Our main channel – @CurrituckCES – is where you can find educational information on a variety of topics associated with agriculture, food and nutrition and youth development. You will also find our monthly video updates and  videos focused on our area and content. On our secondary channel – @CurrituckCESHealthy – you will find short instruction videos based on healthy recipes we curate. Some additional wellness videos are also located here.

Instagram: Our Instagram account is an Extension of our Healthy initiative. You’ll find beautiful photos of those delicious and healthy recipes as well as behind the scenes photos of some of our work. On instagram we are @CurrituckCESHealthy.

Pinterest: On Pinterest, we post original content like videos of healthy recipes, or discussions on gardening techniques. You’ll also find curated content from other sources that are based in research and fact. On Pinterest, we are @CurrituckCES.

Constant Contact:  Using Constant Contact, we publish a monthly newsletter that contains educational articles and upcoming events. To subscribe, send us your email and we’ll add you to the list!

As always, we welcome you to connect with us by calling or stopping by our offices at 120 Community Way in Barco. We look forward to interacting with you soon. It truly is a pleasure to serve you!
