Is your child familiar with Farmers Markets? NC Cooperative Extension invites youth ages 6 to 11 to join in on a fun-filled day of adventuring through the Virginia Beach Farmers Market on June 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Learn the rural heritage of milking cows, churning butter, and grinding corn. Then tour the children’s garden and plant seeds to take home. The fee for this adventure is $10.00 and includes lunch. This fun-filled day requires closed toes shoes. We will depart for our adventure from the Currituck Extension Office at 8:30 a.m. and plan to return by 2:00 p.m.

Pre-registration required by June 7th. Pre-registration and a registration fee of $10 must be paid to secure your spot. Space is limited so please do not delay in registering your child.
