Culinary Passport: International Foods for Kids
Join Currituck County 4-H as we explore the world-one plate at a time. We are excited to offer this new workshop in a series, where every month is a new stop around the world! Join us on August 8 from 2:00-5:00 p.m., as we learn about a new country and its culture, by creating and sampling foods native to that region. Italy is our first stop on this fun and exciting journey. This workshop is for youth ages 9-14 and has a class fee of $10.
Pre-registration is required. You can register online or contact the office at 252-232-2262. Class size is limited and reservations are confirmed upon receipt of class fee. Payments can be made in person at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center or by mailing a check made payable to “Currituck County” to 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917. Please also include class name in your check memo line.

4-H is North Carolina’s largest youth development organization, equipping more than 247,000 young people each year with the skills to succeed and improve the world around them. 4-H programs and camps encourage young people to “learn by doing,” helping them to develop into active, contributing citizens. NC State Extension and N.C. Cooperative Extension Program at N.C. A&T State University coordinate 4-H programs statewide.
