Join us for the Annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting on Friday, December 7, 2018, hosted by N.C. Cooperative Extension and the Currituck County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #89. As a new addition, this year come early to the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center (120 Community Way), save your seats for the parade, and join in on the Reindeer Games provided by N.C. Cooperative Extension. Starting at 5:30 p.m., everyone is invited to participate in a number of holiday-themed activities including creating Reindeer Food and fun games. As tradition, the tree lighting will be held at 6:30 p.m. where hot cocoa and cookies will be served to enjoy while you watch the parade, which will begin at 7 p.m.

This year’s parade theme is “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree”. The parade will begin on Barco Way, behind Central Elementary School, turn left onto Aviation Park, right on to Community Way, right on to Maple Park, left on to College Way, and then finish at the Regional Aviation Technical Training Center.

If you would like to participate in the parade or for more information please contact Sheila Gregory at 252-232-2261 or sheila_gregory@ncsu.edu or Detective James Midgett at 252-453-2670 Ext 4 or james.midgett@currituckcountync.gov.
