Gingerbread House Contest flyer image

Kick off your holiday season with some delicious fun and friendly competition. Enter N.C. Cooperative Extension of Currituck County’s first ever Gingerbread House Contest which will be held in conjunction with the annual Currituck County Tree Lighting and Parade on December 7, 2018. Gather your friends, your family, or just yourself, and sign up for the Gingerbread House Contest. There are four easy steps to enter:

  1. Review the Rules
  2. Review Judges Rubric
  3. Complete the Gingerbread House Signs
  4. Register your Gingerbread House

Gingerbread house must be at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center office (120 Community way, Barco NC 27917) by 5:30 p.m. on December 7. We will not be taking houses prior to December 7. Houses will be on display at the Currituck County Tree lighting for judging. Spectators will be allowed to vote for a People’s Choice Award. Winners will be announced prior to the parade at 7 p.m. that night and houses should be picked up at the conclusion of the parade.
