Currituck County 4-H is hosting a one day Happy Trails Horse Camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020. So come hang out at the barn for the day. Camp activities include grooming tips, riding, and having fun! The camp will be held at the CCRC (Currituck County Rural Center) located at 184 Milburn Sawyer Rd. in Powells Point, NC and is open to youth ages 8-14. The cost is $10.00 per youth and each participant will need to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a bag lunch.

Following horse camp, there will be an Equine Science session covering horse breeds, colors, and marking. The class is from 3 to 5 p.m. There is no fee, but registration is required.

Both events require youth to be enrolled in 4HOnline for the current year. Pre-registration and payment are required by April 10, 2020.
