4-H Grows Here Gardening Kit

Over the last couple of weeks, with our schools helping to distribute, Alleghany County 4-H has provided more than 300 gardening kits to youth throughout Alleghany county. Each kit contained the basics of starting your own small garden (with lots of room to expand) Please take a look at the video to see details of what was inside each of the kits.

If your child did not receive one of the kits, and would like one, please take a minute to fill out the 4-H Grows Here Gardening Kit Request Form and we will get one to you, or you may pick one up. You must register so we can ensure we have enough kits.

In the next couple of weeks, we will be putting up additional gardening tips and ideas. Check back often or visit our Alleghany County 4-H Facebook page for more info.

If you have any questions, you can contact the Alleghany County office at 336-372-5597 or email me at amy_lucas@ncsu.edu.

Happy Gardening!
