No Soil? No Problem.

Gardening is a healthy, fun activity for children! Children that participate in gardening activities develop new skills, learn about science and nature, learn about where their food comes from and expand their creativity and imagination.

The 2021 4-H Youth Gardening program will provide hands-on, informative, and imaginative activities for youth of all ages, with new activities each month. The first workshop of the year called No Soil? No Problem. is a hands-on hydroponics activity for youth ages 10-14, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 4 p.m. Together, we will learn about hydroponics and make a basic system using 2-liter bottles. This workshop is free of charge and all materials for this workshop will be provided to registered participants and can be picked up from the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center prior to the workshop.
