Learn your way around a car! We will learn how to check the oil and other fluid levels, change the oil, change a flat tire, and many other things. This workshop is designed to teach you the basics of care and maintenance. It could save you some breakdowns and avoid costly repairs.

This program will be at N.C. Cooperative Extension – Currituck County Center, located at 120 Community Way in Barco, NC on Monday, October 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is designed for those who are driving or about to start driving and is for ages 14 to 18. The cost is $5.00.

Registration is not complete until your child is enrolled in NC 4-H for the 2025 program year. The link to do that is 4honline.com

We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Space is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
