Description:

Do you want to make your New Year’s resolution of having a healthy lifestyle stick? Then to help kick start your resolution, try NC Cooperative Extension’s free, virtual Whole Body Boot Camp starting January 17th and running through February 7th. Each week, there will be a short virtual class that can be viewed on your own schedule and in your own home. You will then be given a few small self-improvement homework assignments to complete during the week, as well as group discussions and encouragement throughout the class. As a bonus, you will receive a digital workbook that can be printed or downloaded to help guide you through the activities over the four weeks. The four sessions included are: Getting to Know Yourself; Eating for the Seasons; Move Every Day; and Commit to Yourself. So, take time for yourself this year by joining this free pilot program that you can complete entirely from the comfort of your own computer! You have nothing to lose except maybe some unhealthy habits.

Pre-registration by January 12th is required. You can register online at http://go.ncsu.edu/wholebodybootcamp18 or by contacting the office at 252-232-2261. Prior to the start of class, you will receive an email containing all the class details including your free workbook. For more information or accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Olivia Jones at 252-232-2261, email olivia_jones@ncsu.edu no later than five business days before the event.
