Description:

4-H Robotics Club for youth ages 8-18. Working together in small groups, youth learn what a robot is, how to build one using a Lego Mindstorms robotics kit, and how to program the robots to interact with its environment. The program is open to all youth ages 8 to 14. We will meet from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. twice a month starting in February. Each session will be hands-on and much of our activities will center around our 4-H Community Garden and greenhouse. The cost is only $15 for the entire program! Youth ages 8 to 14 will get a chance to meet their state legislators and attend a forum designed to address project funding needs in our area. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers in the Rick Gardener Administrative Building on Colonial Avenue in Elizabeth City on Friday, March 29, 2019. The meeting begins at 10:00 am and should conclude by 11:30 am.
