North Carolina Soybean Schools are a series of soybean production schools around the state, in addition to local county production meetings that deliver research-based information for optimizing soybean production. Content is unique to each school. These events are brought to you by N.C. Cooperative Extension in partnership with the North Carolina Soybean Producers Association. Northeast Ag Expo Team has worked together to bring this opportunity for growers to hear from University of Georgia Weed Science Extension Specialist Dr. Stanley Culpepper, Virginia Tech Soybean Extension Specialist Dr. Carrie Ortel and NC State Entomology Extension Specialist Dr. Dominic Reisig. This year’s Northeast Ag Expo Regional Soybean School will be held on January 23, 2026 at the Pasquotank County Extension Office located at 1209 McPherson St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909. Registration will take place from 9:00am- 9:10am with the program taking place from 9:10 am to 12:15 pm when lunch will be served. Three hours of pesticide credits will be offered for the categories of n, O, D, and X to satisfy the recertification requirements for NC Pesticide License holders. Registration can be found online for the Regional Soybean School.
