Come join us for a hands on workshop to learn about growing cherry tomatoes for market. The workshop held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center will include information on cherry tomato production techniques such as soil sampling, trellising and pruning, high tunnel production, a cherry tomato variety trial, as well as harvest and post-harvest handling. Marketing ideas and a cherry tomato variety trial taste test will also be a part of program. Registration will begin at 9:30 and the program will begin at 10:00.
