N.C. Cooperative Extension Currituck County center is hosting a two-part, hands-on Miniature Garden series, starting with a Hypertufa Workshop on Thursday, March 10th from 10:00 - 11:30. Attendees will have an opportunity to create and take home their own hypertufa planter, or leave it here and use it for part 2, Creating Miniature Gardens on Thursday, March 24, from 10:00 - 11:30. In part 2, participants will learn how to create and design their own small-sized garden, from plant choices and furnishings to planting and caring for your mini garden.
Register through Eventbrite at https://mini_garden_series.eventbrite.com/. The fee for each session is $10.00 which includes the cost of materials for creating hypertufa containers, plants, soil, and any additional materials needed to complete a miniature garden.
