Join us for a hands-on Pruning and Care of Ornamental Trees and Shrubs class on January 21, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Currituck County Extension Office, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC. This practical workshop will teach you when, where, and how to prune to promote healthier growth, improve plant structure, and maintain a beautiful landscape. Because the class includes an outdoor, hands-on pruning session, please bring your own pruning tools—we have a limited supply to share—and be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly for outdoor work.
