Join us on Saturday, September 18, 2021, as we learn about the art of bonsai! Each participant will learn about bonsai basics and make their very own bonsai to take home. We begin at 10 a.m. and will finish by noon.

This program is for all youth ages 8 to 12. The cost for this program is $10. We will meet at the N.C. Cooperative Extension – Currituck County Center at 120 Community Way in Barco. To register, please visit https://buildabonsai.eventbrite.com.

We also accept cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NC State University. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck County office, 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917 within 5 days of registration.

After you complete your Eventbrite registration, you will need to register your youth through the 4-H Online website. It is easy and only takes a few minutes. Please call us and we will guide you through it if you have any problems.

Currently, in-person classes require masks to be worn for the duration of the class without exception. If you arrive without a mask one will be provided for you. We ask all participants to maintain six feet of distance while on the premises. We are following the current North Carolina mandates.
