Disc golf is the perfect solution for youth to learn, share and enjoy a lifetime sport. It's a healthy, inexpensive, recreational activity that provides upper and lower body conditioning, aerobic exercise, and mental stimulation.
Currituck County 4-H is creating a new club for youth ages 8-14. If your child likes being outdoors and has a desire to learn more about the sport of disc golf, join us on September 3, 2021, from 2–4:30 p.m. for our first club meeting. We will provide all the equipment, provide an overview of disc golf, and have experienced disc golf players on hand to share tips and techniques.
All meetings will be held at the Currituck County Rural Center in Powells Point on the newly designed 18 hole disc golf course. Currently, we have scheduled additional practice sessions on October 8, November 5, and December 10, from 2–4:30 p.m.
To sign up please go to https://discgolfcamp2.eventbrite.com. All participants must be enrolled in 4-H for the 2021 program year. You can complete this enrollment at4-H Online.
