Collapse ▲Currituck County 4-H is hosting a ”Happy Trails” Horse Camp for kids ages 8-12: September 27, 2024 from 2 p.m. -5 p.m. Camp activities include grooming and basic care, riding, and many other fun activities, designed to help your child increase their knowledge and skills about horses, animal care and equitation. This interactive educational camp will provide participants the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the horse industry. The camp will be held at the CCRC (Currituck County Rural Center) located at 184 Milburn Sawyer Rd. in Powells Point, NC. All campers must wear closed-toed shoes and they may want to bring a snack.
There is a $5.00 registration fee. This may be paid online through eventbrite or you may pay with cash or check. Cash and check payments need to be paid within five days of your registration. If you are paying by check please make it payable to NCSU, and mail it to NCCE 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917.
Class size is limited and full registration including fees, and 4HOnline enrollment is required to hold your spot. We will gladly help you complete your online registration and 4-H Enrollment. Please feel free to call us at 252-232-2262, and we will walk you through the process. Register through Eventbrite.
