Join us as we travel to Manteo NC and explore the waterfront and creeks with our kayaks. We will gather at Cooperative Extension - Currituck Center on September 17, 2026 and depart at 9 am for Ice Plant Island in Manteo. We will unload the kayaks at the boat ramp and begin our exploration. Be sure to pack a lunch, water bottle and bring a change of clothes. We will return to Cooperative Extension by 4:00 pm. This program is for ages 8 to 14.

We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Space is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
