Brunswick Stew Cook off

Brunswick stew was Currituck County’s fall favorite. If you have a killer family recipe, consider entering it in the inaugural Currituck Farm Festival Brunswick Stew Cook-off. The cook-off will be held during the Currituck Farm Festival on October 2, 2021, from 1–4 p.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center. Entry is free, but is limited to the first 8 entries so don’t delay and sign up today!

To enter your favorite Brunswick Stew recipe, register for the Currituck Fall Festival at https://currituckfarmfest21.eventbrite.com, then finish your application by completing the entry form (https://go.ncsu.edu/brunswickstewcookoff). Please be sure to also provide your ingredient list. Entry set-up will start at noon and will be located at the gazebo between the Currituck County office and the Currituck Senior Center. All entries must be pre-cooked and kept warm in a slow cooker to ensure constant temperatures. Power will be provided on-site for these devices.
