Currituck County 4-H is hosting two one day ”Happy Trails” Horse Camps for kids ages 8-14 in January and February 2020. Camp activities include grooming tips, riding, and many other fun horse activities. Following the camps will be an Equine Science Series for kids ages 8- 18. These interactive educational sessions will provide participants the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills in the horse industry. The camps and equine science classes will be held at the CCRC (Currituck County Rural Center) located at 184 Milburn Sawyer Rd. in Powells Point, NC. All campers must wear closed-toed shoes and bring a bag lunch.
