Collapse ▲NC 4-H is excited and honored to announce that we have scheduled a special virtual workshop for our 4-H’ers on Friday, May 1, 2020, at 4 p.m. via Zoom with Mr. Jones Loflin.
Mr. Jones Loflin is an accomplished speaker and has worked with organizations ranging from Walmart to the United States Military. With all of his accomplishments, he is perhaps most proud of being known as dad to Alex and Sydney. Alex is a 4-H Alumni from Davidson County and Sydney is a current Davidson County 4-H’er, serving as the North Central District President. Mr. Loflin is certainly no stranger to the North Carolina 4-H program!
During our time together, led by Mr. Loflin, we will talk about:
- Determining how to best use your free time.
- How to have positive conversations with negative people.
- Planning your future.
- How to help others succeed in times of change.
Registration for this virtual workshop via Zoom is required through a Google form and is open to all North Carolina 4-H’ers age 13-18. This free session is limited to the first 500 participants. Please share this information with our 4-H’ers and parents. An email with the Zoom link will be sent out to registered participants the morning of the workshop. Registration deadline is Thursday, April 30 at 5 p.m.
For more information or accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Sherry Fischlschweiger via email sherry_fischlschweiger@ncsu.edu no later than five business days before the event.
