Display your creativity and imagination in a family-friendly, county-wide competition. N.C. Cooperative Extension in Currituck County will be hosting a Hay Bale Decorating contest in conjunction with the Fall Family Fun: An Online Fair Event.

This hay bale decorating contest will have two divisions: Currituck County History and Heritage and Celebrate 4-H, with youth and adult categories in both divisions. Individuals/Families may submit one entry in each division. Submissions will be compiled and released on the Fall Family Fun website so that fairgoers can vote for their favorites. Participants who submit entries in the Celebrate 4-H Division have the option of having their entries submitted in the State 4-H Hale Bale Contest. Prizes (TBD) will be awarded to the winner of each category in both divisions.

To enter, sign up for the Fall Family Fun: An Online Fair Event at https://currituckfallfair.eventbrite.com. Once registered, fill out the form for the Hay Bale Decorating contest in which you are participating and upload your photo(s). Entries will be accepted until October 31, 2020, at 5 p.m.
