The end of summer and the beginning of fall is time for watermelon and pumpkin harvests. After you’ve spent numerous days caring for and protecting your plants, you’re finally ready to reap your rewards. If the joy of eating that sweet watermelon, or carving that enormous pumpkin aren’t enough, why not enter your gourd in our Largest Watermelon or Largest Pumpkin contest?

Starting on September 1, 2020, as a part of the Fall Family Fun: An Online Fair Event, N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center will be holding a Largest Watermelon and Largest Pumpkin contest.
