Yes, it is that time of year again and while most things in life have slowed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our trees continue to grow. On January 28, 2021, N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center will present a basic tree pruning workshop, for homeowners who want to learn how to properly prune their trees.
The workshop will cover when, why, and how to prune; tree assessment, proper cuts, developing good branching habits, looking for defects, correcting problems, and how much to prune. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and will be given an opportunity for additional in-person training.
Join us on January, 28 from 6 to 7 p.m. for this one-hour Zoom presentation. Register online for this free workshop at https://basictreepruning.eventbrite.com. If you have questions or need accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Chris Blaha at 252-232-2262 or email ctblaha@ncsu.edu no later than five business days before the event.
