TowneBank was honored to sponsor the People’s Choice portion of Currituck Travel & Tourism’s annual Currituck Bulls & BBQ held in November 2020 at the Currituck County Rural Center (CCRC). The beneficiary of this year’s People’s Choice donation was Currituck County 4-H Backpacks for Kids program. This program provides nutritious, child-friendly, easy-to-prepare food each weekend during the school year to chronically hungry children in Currituck. The program received $3,500 from the competition to assist them with this critical outreach. TowneBank has sponsored the People’s Choice for several years with proceeds going to charitable organizations in Currituck County. Currituck Travel and Tourism thanks TowneBank for their continuing support of our community.
