Are you ready to get back in the Extension Kitchen? Well, we are ready to welcome you back! Join us on May 19, 2021, to master the art of herb pairing. You will learn and practice how to use herbs and spices in your everyday dishes to turn up the flavor. We will offer 2 registration types for this class. Option 1 will be to attend the live class from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This class will be limited to 6 individuals who will have their own kitchen space, distanced 6-feet from other participants. We are asking everyone to wear a mask for the duration of the class with no exceptions. This option has a $15.00 registration fee.

If you are not quite ready to come back to the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Currituck County office or you do not want to wear a mask you will not be left out! Option 2 for class registration is to join us from the comfort of your home via live stream. This option is free! You will be provided with recipes and a grocery list a week prior to class so you can cook along if you would like.

Reserve your seat today for either class option by completing the class registration and payment at https://herbsandspicescookalong.eventbrite.com. We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NC State University. Checks and cash payments can be received at the N.C. Cooperaitve Extension of Currituck County office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot. If you have any problems registering please feel free to call us at 252-232-2261, and we will walk you through the process. If you are interested in joining us for other classes check out go.ncsu.edu/currituckeventbrite for a complete listing of opportunities.

Currently, all in-person classes require masks to be worn for the duration of the class without exception. If you arrive without a mask one will be provided for you. We ask all participants to maintain six feet of distance while on the premises. We are following the current North Carolina mandates. If you are not able to meet these requirements, or if you need accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Olivia Patchel via email at olivia_patchel@ncsu.edu no later than ten business days before the event.
