The 4-H Staff will be holding two workshops to help educate youth and parents about chickens, and to help get them ready for the 4H Domestic Poultry Show to be held on October 1, 2022 at the Currituck Farm Festival.
The first workshop, on August 31, 2022, will focus on the ins and outs of showmanship, and the second workshop, on September 14, 2022, will cover preparing for the show, with time for questions participants have regarding the show. Both workshops will be from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension office located at 120 Community Way, Barco NC. These workshops are not required to participate in the show, but are recommended for all participants – especially those new to poultry showing.
To register for one or both workshops, please visit 2022 Poultry Workshops. All participants must also be enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2022 program year; the link to that portion of the registration process is 4-H Online. If you are registered in 4-H online with another county please let us know.
