Collapse ▲Currituck County 4-H will host two clinics to help youth prepare for the 2023 Horse Show season, with particular emphasis on the 2023 District and State 4-H Horse Shows. The clinics offered will provide instruction in all western and hunter events and participants will rotate through small group classes focused on a specific topic. Registered participants will also have the opportunity to identify specific areas for which they would like to have help on the class agenda. Clinics will be held January 21 and February 18, 2023, 10 a.m. -1 p.m. at the Currituck County Rural Center 184 Milburn Sawyer Rd, Powells Point NC.
Participants will have the option of bringing their horse and participating in the small group classes or they can choose to attend without a horse and audit the instruction. All participating youth must be enrolled in 4-H and any youth auditing the activities must be accompanied by an adult. 4-H Online. Both clinics will be offered at no charge and will be held in the indoor arena rain or shine.
Reserve your child’s seat today by completing the class registration 2023 Horse Clinics and then, if you have not already done so previously, complete your child’s 2023 4-H Online enrollment. Class size is limited and full registration and 4-H Online enrollment is required to hold your child’s spot. We will gladly help you complete your online registration and 4-H enrollment.
