Testing for New Private (Farmer) Category, Commodity Fumigation Z(CF)
The Pasquotank County Center located at 1209 McPherson Street will be cooperating with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, Pesticide Section, to host a testing site for the new private (farmer) category, Z(CF), commodity fumigation on Monday, September 23 starting at 1:00 p.m. Farmers that want to fumigate grain bins and/or loads of grain on trucks must have this certification. Recertification Class for Commercial / Private Applicator
The Pasquotank County Center located at 1209 McPherson Street, Elizabeth City will be conducting a recertification class on Thursday, September 19th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon that will provide 3.5 hours of credits for the categories of A,G,H,L,N,O, and D for commercial pesticide ground applicators as well as 3.5 hours of X credits for private (farmer) pesticide applicator. Testing for Obtaining a North Carolina Pesticide License
North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Pasquotank County Center is hosting testing for people desiring to obtain a commercial pesticide or private (farmer) pesticide license on Thursday, October 3, 2024. The testing will take place at the Pasquotank County Center located at 1209 McPherson Street, Elizabeth City, and will begin at 1:00 p.m. Anyone coming for the testing should bring a picture ID, calculator (cannot use smartphone), and money for testing fees.
