Currituck County 4-H is thrilled to continue our exciting Homeschool Adventure Series. This highly interactive program provides a unique opportunity for 4-H youth to dive into “Our Natural World” focusing on plant, food and business science. Students will explore how food is grown, the science behind healthy eating, and about the many opportunities to to turn agricultural knowledge into innovative projects and businesses. 

Participants will explore the science behind plants, develop entrepreneurial skills through agricultural ventures, and learn about healthy eating. Each workshop will include engaging hands-on activities, teamwork and real world applications that connect directly to everyday life.

To ensure a meaningful and appropriate experience, sessions are divided into three distinct groups:

Cloverbud (ages 5-7): Homeschool Fall 2025 – Cloverbud

  • October 3, 2025:  9:00-11:00 a.m.
  • October 24, 2025: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
  • November 7, 2025: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
  • November 21, 2025: 9:00-11:00 a.m.
  • December 10, 2025: 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Juniors (ages 8-12):  Homeschool Fall 2025 Juniors

  • October 9, 2025: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • October 20, 2025: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • October 30, 2025: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • November 20, 2025: 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • December 1, 2025: 9:30-11:30 a.m.      

Seniors: (ages 13-18): Homeschool Fall 2025 Seniors

  • October 13, 2025: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
  • October 23, 2025: 9:30-11:30 p.m.
  • November 3, 2025: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
  • November 24, 2025: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
  • December 4, 2025:9:30-11:30 a.m.

These workshops will be held at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center. There are no fees for this program however registration and enrollment in 4HOnline is required for participation. 4hOnline can be found at:  4honline.com.
