N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center is starting a new article/ video log series titled: This Week in the Garden. If you’re interested in starting your own garden or maybe learning how to improve your garden, then this series is for you. We will be taking resources from NC State University and other Universities and applying them to a real-life garden. We will follow this garden from planning and planting through harvest with weekly updates. Each post will contain a short video update of the garden and a relevant related article. Throughout the series, we will have occasional giveaways of gardening supplies, question and answer sessions with our subscribers, and troubleshooting for when things inevitably don’t go right.

If this is something you are interested in, register online for free at Registration will allow you to stay up to date with the content we post while allowing you to participate in our giveaways and other fun activities we have planned. If you have questions or need accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact Adam Formella at 252-232-2262 or email
