Description:

Join us Thursday, Jun 17, 2021 from 1-4pm, at the Currituck County Extension Office to explore the magical and fascinating world of miniature gardens. Youth ages 8-13 will learn the basics of plant selection and care, basic design principles, and receive some inspiration and ideas. Each youth will receive a container, soil, plants and 3-5 miniature elements as they use their creativity to build their own miniature garden.

Registration is not complete until you register your child in the 4-H online system. The link to do that is: https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in .

Cash and check payments will be accepted in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NC State University. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck County office, 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration.

Currently, in-person classes require masks to be worn for the duration of the class without exception. If you arrive without a mask one will be provided for you. We ask all participants to maintain six feet of distance while on the premises. We are following the current North Carolina mandates.
