Join us for an unforgettable field trip to Jennette’s Pier, where kids will experience the thrill of pier fishing and beach exploration while learning about the amazing animals that call the shore their home!
Participants will cast their lines off the iconic pier, discover fascinating marine life along the beach, and gain a deeper understanding of coastal ecosystems. This hands-on adventure is perfect for young explorers eager to connect with nature and the ocean!
Please make sure your child brings a bag lunch and meet the 4-H staff at the NC Cooperative Extension Currituck Center at 10:45 am. Participants will return and be ready to be picked up at 3:30 pm.
There is a registration fee of $20.00. Payment can be made with a credit card via Eventbrite, or cash/check payable to NCSU. Checks and cash can be delivered to the Currituck Extension Office at 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917 within 5 days of registration..
All participants must also be enrolled in 4-H Online for the 2025 program year; the link to that portion of the registration process is https://v2.4honline.com/
